Do you like Pad Thai as much we do?
Many stories can be told with Pad Thai, a popular Thai style fried noodles enjoyed by both locals and foreigners. This tasty recipe may originate from Central Thailand, but it contains healthy ingredients from different parts of the country. Thai people prefer their Pad Thai with the soft and firm rice noodles from Chantaburi in the East and they want it to come with high quality dried shrimps from the South. However, what gives the dish its unique taste is the tamarind sauce. Tamarind trees thrive in the drier climate of the North. The other ingredients of Pad Thai include bean sprouts, garlic chives, tofu and eggs. To eat it like a Thai, squeeze some lime juice over your Pad Thai and sprinkle it with some ground chilli and crushed peanuts. Enjoy 🙂
Pad Thai is available in most restaurants and food courts but it takes some local knowledge to identify the really good one.
