Early morning is the best time to visit this unique floating market – a rendezvous of local vendors who sell their fresh produce from rowing boats. Traditional floating markets like this are rarely found nowadays. Many of them slowly disappeared after the constructions of roads as part of city expansion.
You will go on a rowing boat to do some sightseeing, shopping and food-tasting. We then visit a local coconut plantation that still operates sugar making the traditional way.
This is a nice alternative for people who don’t like the crowds and commercial activities at Damnoen Saduak floating market.
Tha Kha floating market originally opened once every 4-5 days with a schedule based on the old lunar calendar. Currently it is best visited in the weekend.
