Combining our popular Bangkok Highlights and Railway-Floating market tours in 2 days for cruise travellers arriving at Laem Chabang port. Port fees are included in the tour price, our guide and driver will meet you at port on the first day, and bring you back to the port after tour on second day. We may need to adjust the program to the cruise timing.
Day 1: pick up at Laem Chabang port, Bangkok Highlights tour, finish at hotel of your choice in central Bangkok.
The Bangkok Highlights is far our most popular tour. You will see the colorful flower and vegetable market, the famous reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, the famous Bangkok landmark on the bank of Chao Phraya river at Wat Arun, and a relaxing long-tailed boat ride through the canals of Bangkok. The tour includes freshly prepared Thai lunch. The tour is done by luxury minivan as the port is outside of the city, for the local experience we will still do a fun tuk tuk ride.
Optionally you can select on the booking form to replace Wat Arun with the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew (emerald Buddha), if you don’t mind to be in the crowds then this is a spectacular place to visit.
Day 2: meet at hotel, Railway and Floating markets tour (with lunch), finish at Laem Chabang port.
A trip to a unique “railway market” where sellers rush to fold the roof over their stalls and pack up their goods every time a train passes through. When possible we can visit the traditional Tha Kha market, one of the hidden gems around Bangkok. This market opens once every 4-5 days depending on moon phases, and also opens in the weekends. Then, we visit the floating market in Damnoen Saduak, a daily market highly popular among tourists. Boat tour at one of the floating markets is included. After a delicious freshly cooked lunch we will drive you back to the port.
